Company Appoints Vice President of Data Science and Solutions and Vice President of Sales

Cheng and Ganeshkumar collectively bring extensive leadership experience in data science, big data and technology to dotData. They will be instrumental to the company’s growth strategy as it expands to meet global market demand for its data science automation platform.

As Vice President of Data Science and Solutions, Cheng leads the dotData data science team and works with clients to solve their most challenging problems. Cheng is a data science practitioner with 14 years of research and industry experience.  He is leading new product development initiatives in the fields of data science and business intelligence.  Prior to joining dotData, Cheng was a Data Science Principal Manager with Accenture Digital.  There, he was instrumental in the strategic expansion of Accenture Digital’s footprint for the data science market in North America. Cheng received his Ph.D. degree in Applied Physics from Northwestern University.

Ganeshkumar leads dotData’s global sales organization and is responsible for the company’s sales and growth strategy. Ganeshkumar is a proven enterprise software sales leader with more than 15 years experience with tech startups in the big data space.  Prior to joining dotData, Ganeshkumar managed global sales teams at AtScale, Visual IQ, and SeeSaw Networks. Ganeshkumar received his M.S. degree in Environmental & Nuclear Engineering from George Washington University.
